Show Music: Step to My Girl by Souls of Mischief
Opening Segment: Genevie & Envy EllisThe show opens cold in the parking lot as Genevie arrives at the arena. She barely makes it a few steps before Envy Ellis storms up to confront her.Envy demands answers. She says she’s spent the entire week obsessing over their match — watching hours of Genevie’s footage, even going back to her 4CW days. She studied everything. So how did Genevie beat her?How did she know exactly HOW and WHEN to counter her?Genevie looks briefly caught off guard by the intensity. Envy presses closer, frustrated and borderline frantic as she demands a rematch.Genevie’s patience runs out.She laughs. Not happening. She tells Envy she’s focused on bigger things now — WWC ambitions, championship goals, and tonight she has a partner she actually respects.Envy is behind her.She needs to move on.Genevie walks away, leaving Envy standing there simmering.Holden Wagner & Bunny Yoshizawa vs Pesty & Billy ReynoldsBefore the bell, Billy Reynolds and Pesty immediately begin arguing over who should start the match.Across the ring, Holden Wagner and Bunny Yoshizawa look far more composed. Holden even holds the ropes open for her and hypes her up to the crowd. The contrast becomes obvious once the match begins.Holden and Bunny work together smoothly, tagging frequently and keeping control.Billy grows increasingly annoyed on the apron after being forced to wait. When Pesty struggles, he refuses to tag in out of spite.Only when things begin to fall apart does he jump in to “save” her.Billy briefly gains momentum but Holden fights back and makes the hot tag to Bunny.Moments later Bunny plants Billy and scores the pin while Holden blocks Pesty from interfering.Pesty looks furious after the bell. She wanted momentum — and Billy’s attitude just cost them.Winners: Bunny Yoshizawa & Holden WagnerIn the Ring: The New PromotersThe two newest members of the Board, Kenji Kitamura and Claude Villeneuve, enter the ring for the first time to address the WWC fans.Kenji Kitamura speaks first. He says he won’t steal attention from the existing championships yet. Instead he will observe the roster over the coming weeks before making announcements about the Fighting Spirit Championship. However, he has one gesture for tonight. As a thanks to the company, the other promoters for the opportunity, and the fans, he will personally fund the steel cage match next week between Eric Holland and Clyde Sutter. The crowd reacts loudly.Next, Claude Villeneuve takes the microphone. He announces that in two weeks WWC will crown the first North Atlantic Tag Team Champions in a one-night special event. We might even crown them more than once, he hints! More on this will be revealed in the coming days. But first, he wants to see what teams already exist in this company — and what new teams may emerge. He gestures toward the entrance ramp.Perhaps we’ll discover one tonight.Kimberly Williams & Kova Kepler vs Della James & LegionThe crowd is energized for this all-women tag contest.Early on Legion traps Kimberly Williams in a dangerous situation and it looks like the match might swing their way.Out of nowhere, Kova Kepler launches herself from the top rope into the ring, crashing into the pile just to break up the pin attempt. The crowd roars at the sacrifice.Momentum shifts immediately.Kim and Kova regain control and finish the match shortly after, securing the victory to a strong reaction — particularly for Kova’s fearless intervention.Winners: Kimberly Williams & Kova KeplerBackstage: Holden Wagner & Bunny YoshizawaBackstage, Holden Wagner sits on a crate celebrating with a beer.Bunny Yoshizawa approaches. He offers her one. After a brief hesitation, she accepts and they toast the win.Bunny admits they had better chemistry than she expected. She came to WWC to test herself — and people underestimate her constantly. She asks Holden for a favor.Holden assumes she wants to chase the tag titles together. She laughs, 'err.. maybe someday' she says, politely.Instead, she wants to face him one-on-one next week.Holden nearly spits out his drink. She’s half his size.Bunny shrugs. That’s exactly the test she wants. After a moment, Holden nods and agrees.Eric Holland & Archie Adams vs Rett Boone & Boon WilliamsBoon Williams receives strong support from the crowd — something that clearly irritates his partner Rett Boone.Archie Adams notices the tension immediately and begins exploiting it.The match turns into a hard-hitting brawl as the heavyweights start throwing bombs around the ring.Boone and Williams struggle to stay coordinated. A moment of miscommunication leaves Rhett exposed.Adams capitalizes and plants him for the three-count while Eric Holland blocks Boon Williams from breaking the pin. After the match Holland pats Adams on the back — but his attention shifts to the ramp.Clyde Sutter stands there watching silently.Next week. The Steel cage waits for them both. The crowd buzzes with anticipation.Winners: Eric Holland & Archie AdamsBackstage: Red Lock LegionFlynn Howell arrives backstage accompanied by his mother Scarlett and sister Corsen. He proudly announces the arrival of the Red Lock Legion in the WWC.Flynn boasts that fan support has been overwhelming for them, and tonight he wins his first WWC championship — and it won’t be his, or their, last. With the North American Tag Titles now announced, he suggests that more success and opportunities will naturally flow in their direction. His family will have the best seats in the house to witness his victory, he tells us.Genevie & Silas Romero vs Motley Censori & Callie RentonMotley Censori and Callie Renton enter first to strong crowd support.Genevie follows, with Silas Romero joining her moments later. They seem to be aligned, and focused on their opponents.Callie starts against Genevie and immediately surprises her with speed and aggression. A tag to Motley allows the pair to isolate Genevie early with smooth teamwork.Romero eventually enters and slows the pace, grounding Motley with his methodical offense. When Callie returns to the match she surges with momentum and even forces Romero to scramble for the ropes with a submission attempt.Later she nearly steals the victory against Genevie after a sharp suplex and cover. But Genevie grabs the tights to reverse the pin and escape. When Callie protests the count, Genevie rakes her eyes and quickly tags Romero.Romero cuts Callie off before she can reach Motley, knocking her from the apron moments later. With the ring clear, Romero finishes Motley and secures the three-count.Genevieve celebrates while Romero calmly nods.Motley took the fall — but Callie Renton looked like the real star of the match tonight. Emilio Sanchez watches on from the back, with a wry smile. Did he get it wrong?Winners: Genevieve & Silas RomeroBackstage: Freddie FlorentinoAhead of the Main Event, Freddie Florentino is interviewed backstage entering the arena. He’s completely confident. He’s already beaten Ichabod before, he says, and he’s better than both of his opponents.Tonight is a foregone conclusion.'WWC will go places with him as the face of the company.'In the Ring: Pesty, Sierra Renegade, and Callie RentonStill frustrated from earlier, Pesty returns to the ring. She calls out Sierra Renegade and challenges her to a match next week.Instead, Callie Renton interrupts.Pesty demands to know why Callie keeps interfering in her business.Callie shrugs. She also has unfinished business with Sierra. Her solution?Sierra can face both of them. In fact, they can all face each other. Pesty agrees, that suits her fine.Andrew Raynes & Sierra Renegade vs Sasha Curry & Avery SmithBefore the match begins, Sierra Renegade comes out with a microphone and accepts the challenge laid down earlier, saying she never backs down from a fight.Andrew Raynes joins her in the ring, reminding everyone he’s on a hot streak and plans to keep it that way.Sierra promises chaos.Raynes shrugs — he’s fine with chaos, as long as they win.The match quickly becomes exactly that.Sierra brings the aggression early, overwhelming Avery Smith and forcing her into survival mode. When Sasha Curry tags in, the pace changes. Sasha matches Sierra strike-for-strike and the two trade heavy offense that gets the crowd buzzing.Later, Sierra drags Sasha off the apron and throws her hard into the barricade, briefly leaving Avery alone in the ring.Raynes tags himself in and takes control, but as Sasha scrambles back toward the apron Sierra tries to re-enter and continue the fight.Instead, Raynes abruptly grabs Sierra and throws her out of the ring, cutting her off so he can finish the match himself. With Sierra stunned on the outside, Raynes quickly puts Avery away and ensures the victory. After the bell, Sierra storms back toward the ring — but Sasha meets her halfway and the two erupt into another brawl at ringside.Raynes doesn’t intervene.A win is a win.Winners: Andrew Raynes & Sierra RenegadeBackstage: Jorja Kingsmill & Graham CaldwellJorja Kingsmill thanks Graham Caldwell for last week’s opportunity. But she questions why she’s forced to team with Carmen Muratori tonight given their history — not to mention the tension surrounding her with Jade Bentley and Brennan Devlin. This concept of 'Strange Bedfellows' is alien to her. Surely it would make more sense to put people in a team that actually like wrestling together? Rather than people that don't know each other or in her and Carmen's case, don't even really like one another. Very odd decision making, he suggests.Caldwell explains that’s exactly the point.Strange Bedfellows is about unlikely alliances. It’s a test.Jorja accepts the explanation.Caldwell adds one more detail. If Jorja's team wins tonight — she’ll get what she wants.Carmen Muratori. One-on-one.Keep your enemies closer, as they say.Whisper Windsor & Silas Romero vs James Ryan & Brennan DevlinBackstage cameras catch Envy Ellis leaving the arena, bag over her shoulder.Asked about her match tonight, she shakes her head. She can’t focus on anything else right now.She needs to rewatch her match with Genevie — and Genevie’s match tonight. She needs some answers. She walks away.In the ring, Whisper Windsor is furious. Her partner hasn’t arrived. The match begins as a handicap bout against James Ryan and Brennan Devlin.Suddenly Silas Romero’s music hits.Romero arrives to even the odds and the crowd reacts loudly.Ryan welcomes the challenge, eager for the opportunity to impress and take a big name in the process. Devlin, however, looks largely disinterested and lets Ryan do most of the work.Ryan carries the bulk of the match but begins to gas out after a long bout. Devlin refuses multiple tag attempts, telling Ryan enthusiastically (and sarcastically) this is his big opportunity. 'Time to shine, bro.'Eventually Romero takes control, tagging in Whisper to finish the exhausted Ryan. Brennan shakes his head in disappointment.Winners: Silas Romero & Whisper WindsorBackstage: Ichabod ThrasherIchabod Thrasher arrives at the arena calm and focused. He says the championship on the line tonight was made for him. He’s the most naturally exciting young wrestler in the company. He's gonna climb that ladder like he did Flynn's Dad's.. but the interviewer cuts him off before he can finish that sentence.Tonight he proves he's the best. Bet on the kid.Carmen Muratori & Jorja Kingsmill vs Jade Bentley & Brianna WestCarmen and Jorja clearly don’t trust each other early in the match. But Jorja is intent on making it work. She tries to explain the situation to her partner but Carmen just blanks her repeatedly. As the match plays out, Carmen is reluctant to tag in or out as it means touching Jorja, much to her disgust. Jade too is reluctant to fight unless it's against Jorja, but also keeps her distance due to the 'overwhelming disgustingness' as she puts it. It's clear from the outset that the two allies are not wanting to face one another.Later, Brianna West tags in Jade Bentley while she's distracted, to a huge cheer from the fans. Jorja steps back not willing to intervene. The crowd buzzes as the two friends square off reluctantly. They exchange a brief competitive sequence until Jade makes a costly mistake.Jorja gets the hot, albeit reluctant tag, capitalizes and scores the pin. After the match, Jorja extends a handshake to Carmen.Carmen hesitates. Then accepts, but pulling her in close for a kick to the midsection. Jade enters the fray and they begin a two on one beat down but Brianna comes rushing back in to save the day.Winners: Carmen Muratori & Jorja KingsmillFlashpoint Championship Match
Maddie Stokes (c) vs Oli Caldwell
Oli Caldwell tries to embarrass the champion early with sharp technical wrestling. For a moment it looks like he might succeed. But Maddie Stokes adapts quickly. She begins countering him, turning his own strategy against him and slowly taking control.Moments later she puts Caldwell away clean.Title defence number three, she tells the cameras. "Forever champion."Winner and still Flashpoint Champion: Maddie StokesMain Event
Tradición Libre Championship
Ichabod Thrasher vs Flynn Howell vs Freddie Florentino
The main event quickly lives up to expectations. All three men bring very different styles to the fight. Freddie Florentino wrestles with precision and confidence, Ichabod Thrasher brings explosive athleticism, and Flynn Howell picks his moments carefully while his mother Scarlett and sister Corsen watch closely from the front row.Early on Freddie and Ichabod steal the show with a blistering exchange of counters that brings the crowd to its feet. Flynn bides his time before striking with opportunistic attacks that slow the pace. The ladder finally enters the match and chaos follows.Freddie nearly wins first, planting Flynn with his Sunset Massacre and climbing the ladder, fingertips brushing the championship before Ichabod sprints up the opposite side and drags him down. The two crash hard to the mat before Flynn wipes them both out with the ladder.Tension at ringside begins to build. Scarlett and Corsen shout instructions at Flynn and jaw with the crowd. Ichabod and Freddie both fire back verbally at them between exchanges, clearly irritated by the constant presence.Freddie later hits his finisher again, this time on Ichabod, and begins climbing once more. Flynn recovers just in time to shove the ladder over, sending Freddie crashing into the ropes.Moments later Ichabod lands his Roger Sterling on Flynn and sets the ladder in the centre of the ring. The crowd senses the finish as he begins climbing.Scarlett is shouting from ringside as Ichabod climbs higher and higher.Suddenly she slides a chair into the ring.Ichabod reaches the top.CRACK.Scarlett smashes the chair across Ichabod’s back, sending him crashing off the ladder to the mat.The crowd erupts with boos.Freddie immediately charges toward Flynn who is on his feet in the centre of the ring, trying to stop him from capitalizing. But Corsen grabs him from behind over the barricade, dragging him backward and preventing him from reaching the ladder.Freddie turns and plants with a right hook that sends her crashing three rows back, but it's all too late.Inside the ring Flynn calmly climbs the ladder. With no one left to stop him, Flynn Howell retrieves the championship. The bell rings.Flynn Howell wins the Tradición Libre Championship. The chaos continues immediately afterward. An enraged Ichabod storms toward ringside and throws a chair towards Scarlett but she escapes at the right time. She turns to find Freddie behind her and she's not so fortunate this time around, as she clotheslines her to the canvas to a massive reaction from the crowd.Security rushes toward ringside as the situation threatens to spiral completely out of control. But inside the ring, standing atop the ladder with the

Press Conference
The WWC board sits together once again beneath the bright lights of the press room. Graham Caldwell remains composed as always, fingers folded neatly in front of him. Emilio Sanchez lounges back in his chair with effortless confidence. Darcy Boone watches the room sharply, observant as ever. Beside them now sit Claude Villeneuve and Kenji Kitamura, both increasingly comfortable in their new positions.
The atmosphere feels energized following the chaos of Pride Before the Fall, as the moderator steps forward.
Moderator:
“Before we begin discussing tonight’s event, the Board has an announcement regarding the Flashpoint Championship.”
A murmur spreads across the room immediately.Caldwell inclines his head slightly.Caldwell:
“When the Flashpoint Championship was created, five successful defences were required to earn a Championship opportunity.”
He pauses briefly.“That number will now be reduced to three.”A louder reaction now from the assembled media.Darcy Boone nods calmly.Boone:
“The fans want to see wrestlers tested. WE want to see wrestlers tested.”
Sanchez smirks faintly.Sanchez:
“And frankly, we want chaos.”
Caldwell continues.Caldwell:
“Three successful defences raises the stakes. It accelerates ambition.”
A slight pause.“And as a consequence, Archie Adams now finds himself much closer to the opportunity he demanded.”The moderator quickly follows up.Moderator:
“Which also means Sierra Renegade could potentially derail all of that in Archie’s very first defence.”
Boone folds her arms.Boone:
“Sierra is dangerous because she doesn’t care what the match looks like.”
Sanchez nods.Sanchez:
“She thrives when things get messy.”
Caldwell’s tone remains even.Caldwell:
“Archie Adams is many things. But unfocused isn’t one of them.”
Moderator:
“Claude, tonight begins the North American Tag Team qualifiers. How excited are you to finally launch the division?”
Villeneuve visibly perks up.Villeneuve:
“Very. Tag team wrestling deserves investment. Attention. Prestige.”
He gives a calm smile.“And next week, we will crown our first champions.. in a ladder match.”The room buzzes immediately.Villeneuve continues.Villeneuve:
“I can’t wait to see who survives tonight.”
He lists the names carefully.“Bloody Oath. The Industry Plants. Dem Paper Boyz.”A slight nod.“These are some really exciting additions to the teams we already had.”Sanchez grins slightly.Sanchez:
“Don’t forget Flu SZN.”
Villeneuve smiles faintly.Villeneuve:
“Yes. They act like they don’t care.”
A pause.“But they’re more serious than people realize.”He folds his hands.“Potential frontrunners.”The moderator glances down.Moderator:
“Some have questioned recruiting so many unfamiliar teams in such a short space of time.”
Villeneuve barely reacts.Villeneuve:
“Competition reveals quality very quickly.”
A small shrug.“And if they fail, they fail. They’ll just have to work their way back up the ladder again.”Moderator:
“The Vanguard Cup also begins tonight. The winner receives a title shot of their choosing. Graham, how important is this tournament?”
Caldwell answers immediately.Caldwell:
“It creates an excellent opportunity.”
He glances briefly across the table.
“And also pressure.”Darcy nods once.Boone:
“A tournament forces consistency.”
Sanchez smirks.Sanchez:
“Or exposes inconsistency.”
Caldwell continues.Caldwell:
“Some wrestlers are excellent for one night.”
A slight pause.“Very few can sustain it. Let’s see who comes though.”Moderator:
“There’s also been a lot of discussion regarding Andrew Raynes having a mystery opponent...”
Raynes’ name alone gets a reaction from the room.Sanchez answers first.Sanchez:
“Sometimes it’s good to keep people on their toes.”
Boone tilts her head slightly.Boone:
“Raynes can adapt.”
Caldwell allows himself the faintest smile.Caldwell:
“We’ll find out I guess.”
Moderator:
“The main event feels enormous. All four Champions colliding. Erik Holland and Kimberley Williams against Brennan Devlin and Flynn Howell.”
Kitamura speaks first.Kitamura:
“My champion wins.”
Simple. Direct. He smiles at those on either side of him.Darcy Boone nods calmly.Boone:
“Mine too.”
Sanchez laughs softly.Sanchez:
“I just want to see what survives.”
Caldwell folds his hands tighter together.Caldwell:
“The better wrestlers will prevail on the night.”
A slight pause.“Brennan Devlin… when he applies himself… there are few better in the world.”The wording hangs slightly in the air.
Boone notices it immediately.
Boone:
“That sounded almost complimentary.”
Caldwell exhales softly.Caldwell:
“I am beginning to regret the decision that led to him becoming champion.”
The room perks up immediately.Sanchez smirks.Sanchez:
“But not enough to take the belt away.”
Caldwell purses his lips, saying nothing.Moderator:
“Kenji, the Fighting Spirit Championship was only just introduced and already people are speculating about Erik Holland’s first challenger.”
Kitamura nods thoughtfully.Kitamura:
“There are many worthy opponents.”
The moderator presses further.Moderator:
“Such as?”
Kitamura thinks for a moment.Kitamura:
“Andrew Raynes, for one.”
A few nods from the room.Kitamura:
“Silas Romero.”
Another pause.
“And… one of the other current champions, perhaps.”
Now the room reacts.Sanchez raises an eyebrow.Sanchez:
“Oh?”
Kitamura remains calm.Kitamura:
“I respect all champions.”
A slight bow of the head toward the others.“But I do not wish to disrespect my colleagues too soon.”The moderator jumps in quickly.Moderator:
“So we could potentially see title versus title?”
Kitamura considers it.Kitamura:
“I would back Erik Holland against anyone.”
A pause.“But not yet for this match.”Moderator:
“Which competitors impressed the Board most at Pride Before the Fall?”
Caldwell answers first.Caldwell:
“Sasha Curry.”
He adjusts slightly in his chair.“She relies too heavily on shortcuts.”A measured pause.“When she probably doesn’t need them.”Boone nods.Boone:
“She fights like she expects the world to betray her first.”
Sanchez smiles faintly.Sanchez:
“That’s usually entertaining.”
Caldwell continues.Caldwell:
“If she learns restraint, she’ll be near the Heritage Championship conversation very quickly.”
The moderator turns toward Sanchez.Moderator:
“Emilio?”
Sanchez:
“Kova Kepler.”
Immediate agreement from sections of the press.Sanchez leans forward slightly.“She’s unpredictable. Fearless. Reckless, even.”A grin.“She’ll throw herself at opportunities and spots most people would run from.”He taps the desk once.“I’d love to see her challenge for my championship one day.”Darcy Boone answers next.Boone:
“Bunny Yoshizawa.”
She speaks firmly.“She keeps winning.”A pause.“She keeps surviving.”Boone glances briefly toward the cameras.“And Kimberley Williams needs opponents that are willing to suffer. To say she’s on my radar would be an understatement.”Finally the moderator turns toward Villeneuve.Moderator:
“Claude?”
Villeneuve thinks carefully.Villeneuve:
“I don’t have enough information yet.”
A slight shrug.
“But Flu SZN interest me.”
Sanchez laughs.Sanchez:
“You just like weird teams.”
Villeneuve actually smiles slightly.Villeneuve:
“Sometimes weird teams survive longest.”
The moderator looks toward Kitamura one final time.Moderator:
“And a word on Erik Holland?”
Kitamura answers instantly.Kitamura:
“He embodies Fighting Spirit. He’ll need it this week in the Main Event.”
Silence follows briefly. Then a nod from Boone. Another from Caldwell.Even Sanchez doesn’t argue. The five promoters rise together as a couple of phone camera flashes begin going off across the room.
WWC suddenly feels larger than ever.

'Left of the Dial' by The Replacements
OPENING SEGMENT: Archie Adams
Archie Adams opens the show for the second straight week to another huge ovation from the crowd. Flashpoint Championship over his shoulder, Archie says last week proved everything he’s been saying about Brennan Devlin. Brennan surrounds himself with people to protect him. Archie doesn’t need protecting.
He boldly calls his shot now. Three successful title defences. He was happy to do the five, but this way he gets what he wants sooner; Brennan Devlin for the Heritage Title. “I’m a fighting champion,” he says. “Not a hiding one.”
OPENING BOUT
FLASHPOINT TITLE MATCH
Archie Adams (c) vs Sierra Renegade

Sierra nearly causes a massive upset early on. Her usual chaos completely disrupts Archie’s rhythm and for a few moments the champion genuinely struggles to contain her. Sierra flies around the ring throwing herself into every exchange with reckless abandon, feeding off the crowd noise as she overwhelms him.
But Archie gradually settles the pace. The difference in experience and composure starts showing through. Sierra continues taking risks, but every mistake gives Archie another opening. A huge diving crossbody almost wins Sierra the title, but Archie narrowly survives before immediately catching her with Crown Keeper moments later. Smooth. Professional. Efficient.
Winner and still Flashpoint Champion: Archie Adams
IN THE RING: THE PHILLIPS DYNASTY
Veteran grappler Journeyman Phillips heads to the ring flanked by several younger wrestlers. One by one he introduces them proudly as his protégés. His daughter Sakura. His sons Travis and Wade, better known as Southern Wreckage. Another son, Keanu, who is competing next. And a team he personally mentored, but bare no relation: The Industry Plants. He talks up the latter as a perfectly rounded tag team that will thrive in any environment, under his tutelage. Travis and Wade exchange a subtle glance at one another after the comment.
Collectively though, he calls them all proof of his legacy. “They will redefine every division in WWC.” One by one the belts will come their way. Phillips says this is only the beginning. More people will join them soon. His influence will spread throughout the company.
DEBUT SHOWCASE
Gene Toughskins vs Keanu Phillips

Keanu starts impressively, overpowering Gene early and throwing him around the ring with surprising force. Phillips Sr barks encouragement from ringside as Keanu tries to make an immediate statement.
Gene Toughskins absorbs the punishment though and slowly drags himself back into the contest. The crowd starts rallying behind him as he survives the early storm and begins firing back with increasingly gritty offence.
Keanu charges recklessly late looking for the finish, but Gene counters beautifully and steals the victory. The Phillips Dynasty’s debut night hits its first bump in the road.
Winner: Gene Toughskins
In Ring: Champions Showcase Confrontation
Flynn Howell’s music hits first to heavy boos as the Tradición Libre Champion walks out confidently alongside Scarlett Howell and Corsen Howell. Flynn carries the championship draped casually over his shoulder like it already belongs there permanently.
A moment later Brennan Devlin joins them on the stage to another wave of heat.
Brennan smirks as he approaches Scarlett and Corsen, taking each of their hands in turn and theatrically kissing them both like the smug showman he is. Flynn laughs to himself while Scarlett looks thoroughly amused by the gesture.
The two men enter the ring together.
Flynn takes the microphone first.
Flynn Howell:
“Now this…”
He gestures between himself and Brennan.
“…this looks like a main event.”
Boos rain down immediately.
Flynn ignores them completely.
Flynn Howell:
“Two champions. Two stars. Two men actually carrying this company.”
Brennan nods in agreement, adjusting the Heritage Championship over his shoulder.
Brennan Devlin:
“And then there’s our opponents.”
The crowd cheers loudly for the mere implication of Holland and Kim.
Brennan smirks.
Brennan Devlin:
“Erik Holland.”
A slight shake of the head.
“Completely obsessed with me.”
He looks toward the hard camera.
“You can hear it in his words every single week.”
A mocking pout now.
“I mean look at him. Miserable. Angry. Built like an old fridge somebody left out in the rain.”
Some laughter from the crowd despite themselves.
Flynn chimes back in immediately.
Flynn Howell:
“The man’s held together by tape and bitterness.”
Brennan nods along.
Brennan Devlin:
“And honestly?”
A shrug.
“If his body’s already falling apart this badly, maybe he should just hurry up and retire now instead of dragging it out until the end of the year.”
Heavy boos now.
Flynn paces slightly before switching focus.
Flynn Howell:
“And Kimberley Williams?”
He laughs openly.
“I beat her years ago in Five Lakes Wrestling.”
A dismissive wave of the hand.
“Probably.”
He pretends to think hard.
“Honestly it’s difficult to keep track. I’ve beaten so many people who were supposedly ‘the future’.”
Scarlett applauds sarcastically at ringside.
Flynn Howell:
“Whisper Windsor. Callie Renton.”
A grin.
“Callie about five hundred times, actually.”
Corsen laughs loudly.
Flynn Howell:
“These weird little freaks are not on our level.”
The crowd erupts as Erik Holland’s music suddenly hits.
Kimberley Williams bursts out first carrying Wasley the penguin under one arm while Holland follows behind her with the Fighting Spirit Championship over his shoulder. Holland walks with purpose. Kim practically skips toward the ring.
They enter together.
Kim immediately snatches a microphone first.
She lifts Wasley toward Flynn and Brennan.
Kimberley Williams:
“Wasley says he’s looking forward to maiming both of you tonight.”
Huge cheer.
Kim nods seriously as if the penguin genuinely spoke.
Kimberley Williams:
“Normally we advocate violence.”
She looks down at Wasley.
“And weaponry.”
Nod.
“Lots of weaponry.”
Another cheer.
“But tonight?”
She points toward Flynn and Brennan.
“I think we should put on a masterclass against the so-called greatest technical wrestlers in WWC.”
She grins wildly.
“Outwrestle them. Outfight them. Then maybe hit them with chairs anyway.”
The crowd roars.
Flynn rolls his eyes.
Brennan looks deeply unimpressed.
Finally Holland steps forward and the atmosphere changes immediately.
He doesn’t pace.
Doesn’t grandstand.
He simply stares directly at Brennan.
Erik Holland:
“People said I cheated fate last week.”
Silence falls over the arena.
Erik Holland:
“This week…”
A small step closer.
“Fate finally brought me and Brennan Devlin together.”
Brennan’s smug expression fades slightly. 'Told you' he mouthes to Flynn, who rolls his eyes mockingly.
Erik Holland:
“It feels like we’ve spent years circling one another.”
A pause.
“Different companies. Different situations.”
Another step forward now.
“But always heading here, whether we knew it or not.”
The crowd hangs on every word.
Holland glances briefly toward Brennan’s championship.
Erik Holland:
“Some people wear belts.”
Then directly into Brennan’s eyes.
Erik Holland:
“Others just carry them.”
Big reaction.
Holland lifts the Fighting Spirit Championship slightly.
Erik Holland:
“I know exactly what kind of champion I am.”
He motions toward Kim beside him.
“And I know exactly what kind of champion Kimberley Williams is too.”
Kim nods enthusiastically beside him while holding Wasley upright like moral support.
Holland’s eyes never leave Brennan.
Erik Holland:
“This isn’t the end of our story.”
A pause.
“Probably just the beginning.”
Brennan slowly smirks again.
Holland takes one final step forward.
Erik Holland:
“But I’m still looking forward to shutting you up tonight.”
The tension explodes instantly as Flynn lunges first and suddenly all four competitors begin brawling in the ring while the crowd erupts. Officials and security rush toward ringside trying desperately to separate them as the show heads into chaos early.
VANGUARD CUP MATCH
Callie Renton vs Avery Smith

Pre-match in a quick backstage segment Callie makes it crystal clear she intends to win the Vanguard Cup and already knows exactly which championship she’ll challenge for afterward. She backs up the confidence here. Avery Smith has moments and isn’t completely outclassed, but Callie is sharper throughout, quicker transitions, cleaner offence and far more urgency. She controls most of the match and eventually puts Avery away decisively.
Winner: Callie Renton
Callie motions around her waist and then puts a finger to her lips for the cameras. She’s enjoying the suspense.
IN THE RING: The Promoters Have Some Announcements
Emilio Sanchez, Claude Villeneuve and Darcy Boone come out to greet the crowd tonight. They hype things up a bit and thank them for coming out. They then get down to business and make it clear to all involved that there will be NO OUTSIDE INTERFERENCE in any of the Vanguard Cup or Tag Title Qualifying matches tonight. If anyone gets involved on another wrestler’s behalf, they will be instantly disqualified from progressing. Sometimes the integrity of the competition needs to be upheld, and they only want to see the best prevail in these situations.
SINGLES MATCH
Jorja Kingsmill vs Whisper Windsor

Whisper tries to frustrate Jorja early, slowing the pace and looking for openings to exploit, but Jorja never really loses her composure. She methodically breaks Whisper down and grows more dominant as the match continues. Whisper attempts one final shortcut late, but Jorja catches her clean and plants her hard for the victory. Back-to-back wins now for The Hardest Yakka.
Winner: Jorja Kingsmill
SINGLES MATCH
Andrew Raynes vs Mystery Opponent

Raynes enters first and immediately calls out Journeyman Phillips. He says he doesn’t like games. If Phillips wants a fight, come out now so he can retire him again and let everyone move on with their evening.
Phillips appears on the stage dressed to compete.
He talks about how Raynes may have beaten him the last time they met. Raynes quickly reminds him he beat him the time before that too.
Phillips smiles. “Tonight is different.”
“Whys that then?” asks Raynes, half-humouring him.
Suddenly a huge man appears behind Raynes and attacks him from behind. Phillips grins.
“Because tonight… you face my son. Hans.”
Hans Phillips absolutely mauls Raynes for stretches of the match, using his size advantage to batter him around ringside and throw him violently into the barricades. Raynes eventually fights his way back into things through sheer toughness, rocking Hans with repeated strikes and forcing him onto the defensive.
But Hans finally snaps.
He grabs a steel chair and blasts Raynes with it in full view of the referee. The bell rings immediately. Officials rush down to prevent further damage as Raynes drags himself back upright, demanding they come back and finish the fight. Phillips simply smirks from the ramp as he leads his son away.
Winner: Andrew Raynes by DQ
BACKSTAGE: Brennan, Carmen & Jade
Brennan Devlin stands alongside Carmen Muratori and Jade Bentley now, brushing himself down from the earlier brawl, he has a different agenda now. He says Archie Adams thinks he got the last laugh last week. Brennan says he actually hopes Archie reaches three title defences. That way he can humiliate him properly in front of everyone.
But he doubts Archie even makes it that far. Then he reveals Jade Bentley will be coming for the Flashpoint Championship next. Jade looks momentarily surprised before quickly embracing the idea alongside Carmen, both miming title belts around their waists.
NORTH AMERICAN TAG TEAM TITLE QUALIFIER
Silas Romero & Genevie vs FLU SZN

Genevie spends the opening minutes visibly disgusted by her opponents. She refuses to tag properly at first, wipes her hands constantly and repeatedly complains to the referee about germs and “general contamination.” Silas plays along, dutifully offering to get his hands dirty in her place.
FLU SZN thrive in the chaos and overwhelm the pair early on with their frantic energy. Silas Romero eventually steadies things, dragging the match back under control through brute force and experience. Once momentum shifts Genevie suddenly becomes far more interested in participating. Late in the match she sneaks into the ring pretending to be the legal competitor despite clearly never tagging in. The referee completely misses it, and seconds later she steals the pinfall. The outrage is palpable, a complete injustice, denying the popular brothers a shot at the belts. Silas and Genevie don’t care though, as they exit the pointing up to the rafters where the belts will hang from.
Winners: Silas Romero & Genevie
BACKSTAGE: Genevie & Silas Romero
Genevie says she desperately needs a shower after competing against “those disgusting plague rats.” But she says tonight proved a point. Other teams might have blood ties. Shared history. Years of experience together. None of that matters against her and Silas Romero.
“They don’t need some embarrassing little team name,” she says. “When people hear Genevie and Silas Romero, they already know exactly what they’re dealing with.”
NORTH AMERICAN TAG TEAM TITLE QUALIFIER
Total War vs The Industry Plants

The Industry Plants look extremely impressive early with Journeyman Phillips barking instructions constantly from ringside. Total War seem completely overwhelmed in the opening five minutes by this well drilled machine.
Then Andrew Raynes suddenly appears at ringside. Phillips immediately scrambles away from the area.
Without his guidance, The Industry Plants suddenly look lost and unsure of themselves. Total War capitalize instantly, regaining momentum and eventually taking down the shaken newcomers with a Hagi Sophia to secure the victory.
Winners: Total War
BACKSTAGE: Flu SZN & Claude Villeneuve
FLU SZN confront Claude Villeneuve after their loss to complain about what happened during the match. Villeneuve calmly tells them tag team wrestling requires awareness everywhere at all times. He can’t correct every injustice or referee mistake.
But he advises them to keep doing exactly what they’re doing because in his division the belts will be defended regularly. There’s a reason why he singled them out in the press conference last week; their opportunities will come sooner or later.
NORTH AMERICAN TAG TEAM TITLE QUALIFIER
Southern Wreckage vs Bloody Oath

Southern Wreckage look terrifying early on and completely silence the crowd’s excitement for Bloody Oath through sheer aggression and physicality. But Bloody Oath slowly rally the audience behind them.
Their teamwork sharpens dramatically as momentum builds and eventually they begin outmanoeuvring the larger team. A frantic closing stretch finally sees Bloody Oath steal the upset victory to a huge reaction, a Powerbomb to Blockbuster Combo to dazzle the audience. Wade is enraged and considers an attack from behind but changes his mind at the last second and helps his brother to his feet, as the Australian Duo celebrate with fans up the rampway. Some debut.
Winners: Bloody Oath
NORTH AMERICAN TAG TEAM TITLE QUALIFIER
Red Lock Legion vs Dem Paper Boyz

Another pair of newcomers now, as Dem Paper Boyz come out first to kick off the last of these qualifiers. Corsen and Scarlett represent Red Lock Legion tonight while Flynn watches from ringside holding the Tradición Libre Championship.
The pair constantly pose and flaunt themselves after every successful sequence, frustrating both the crowd and their opponents.
Dem Paper Boyz stay composed throughout though and eventually catch the Legion with a slick combination sequence to secure a surprise victory against the decorated Mother-Daughter combo.
Winners: Dem Paper Boyz

VANGUARD CUP MATCH
Kova Kepler vs Maddie Stokes

Kova Kepler is forced to dig incredibly deep here against the experienced former Flashpoint Champion. Maddie controls long stretches of the contest and repeatedly looks moments away from victory, but Kova refuses to stay down. Her athleticism and fearlessness gradually swing momentum back her way and eventually she catches Maddie with a spectacular Discus Lariat counter out of nowhere to secure the win. A huge tournament result.
Winner: Kova Kepler
TRIPLE THREAT MATCH
Boon Williams vs Freddie Florentino vs Wheeler Wilkes

Debuting Wheeler Wilkes arrives alongside Scarlett Howell and immediately shows flashes of potential. The pace is relentless throughout though with Boon’s growing popularity driving the crowd into every exchange while Freddie Florentino wrestles with his usual calculated patience.
Midway through the match Scarlett discreetly loosens a turnbuckle pad in an attempt to help Wheeler capitalize, but it never quite works out for them. Eventually Freddie catches Boon at exactly the right moment with his Flowkiller, and steals the victory.
Winner: Freddie Florentino
VANGUARD CUP MATCH
Ichabod Thrasher vs Clyde Sutter

Ichabod frustrates Clyde badly early on, repeatedly tying him in knots technically and embarrassing him in stretches. Clyde’s patience quickly disappears. Eventually he launches Ichabod head-first into the exposed turnbuckle left uncovered from the previous bout. The referee hesitates, technically Clyde didn’t expose it himself, and frankly the official looks intimidated by him anyway. Blood pouring from his forehead, Ichabod stumbles directly into Sutter’s Claymore Kick moments later.
Winner: Clyde Sutter
SINGLES MATCH
Bunny Yoshizawa vs Sakura Phillips

Sakura Phillips explodes into the contest desperate to make an impact in her debut. She throws absolutely everything at Bunny Yoshizawa early and genuinely overwhelms her for stretches. The crowd begin rallying behind Bunny though as she slowly fights through the punishment and drags herself back into the contest. Eventually Bunny survives the chaos and counters nicely into a Crash Test to secure the win. The crowd are on their feet as she celebrates upon the turnbuckles.
Winner: Bunny Yoshizawa
Afterward Bunny tells the cameras she’s on a roll now.. Promoters, take notice. She didn’t come to WWC to make up the numbers. And she definitely didn’t travel all this way to settle for mediocrity.
VANGUARD CUP MATCH
Brianna West vs Motley Censori

Brianna’s experience and physicality dominate the opening stages and Motley struggles badly to establish any momentum. But one moment changes everything. A sudden flash of brilliance completely shifts the match and Motley rides the momentum all the way through an increasingly frantic closing stretch to take the win with a Switchblade Kick.
Winner: Motley Censori
SINGLES MATCH
Jade Bentley vs Pesty

Pesty catches Jade off guard early with her energy and aggression, forcing Jade to work much harder than expected. But Jade gradually settles into the contest and begins manipulating the pace more effectively. Once she regains control she never fully lets it slip away again, taking it home with a Package Tombstone. Post-match she looks into the camera and yells for Archie and his title.
Winner: Jade Bentley
HEADLINER
SINGLES MATCH
Carmen Muratori vs Sasha Curry

Carmen enters alongside Brennan Devlin and Jade Bentley, oozing confidence as always. Sasha arrives alone, jawing with fans and cameras on the way to the ring like she already owns the place. The opening few minutes are surprisingly technical. Sasha clearly came prepared. Every time Carmen tries to slow things down or grandstand, Sasha cuts her off sharply and begins piecing together quick combinations and counters that visibly frustrate Carmen almost immediately. Sasha even starts mocking her.
Little things at first. Copying Carmen’s poses, wiping imaginary dirt off her boots after knocking her down, and blowing kisses toward Brennan at ringside. The crowd starts enjoying it far more than Carmen does.
Carmen eventually snaps and drags the match into uglier territory, yanking Sasha into the ropes by the hair and stomping her viciously in the corner while arguing with the referee. But Sasha thrives there too.
Every shortcut Carmen attempts, Sasha returns one of her own moments later. Eye rakes, cheap forearms, and using the ropes. Feigning innocence afterward. It becomes less of a wrestling match and more two horrible people trying to out-scumbag one another.
Late in the match Sasha nearly wins clean after countering Carmen’s finisher into a sudden cradle, but Carmen barely escapes.
Now for the first time Carmen looks rattled, and Sasha senses it. She starts talking trash directly at Brennan on the outside now. “THIS your girl?” she howls.
That gets a big reaction from the crowd, who appear to be behind her tonight, off the back of this performance. Sasha goes for another big move, but this time Jade Bentley hops onto the apron. The referee moves to deal with her, but Sasha knocks her off. Big mistake though, as she turns around to receive a low blow from Carmen out of the Referee’s view. Carmen immediately hooks the tights. One. Two. Three.
Winner: Carmen Muratori
MAIN EVENT
Champions Showcase Tag Team Match
Erik Holland & Kimberley Williams vs Flynn Howell & Brennan Devlin

The atmosphere for the main event feels enormous before the bell even rings. Four champions. Four massive personalities. Flynn Howell enters first alongside Scarlett and Corsen Howell, smug as ever with the Tradición Libre Championship draped over his shoulder. Brennan Devlin follows shortly after, carrying himself like the biggest star in the company. The two exchange a confident nod in the aisle before entering the ring together.
Then the crowd explodes. Erik Holland walks out first with the Fighting Spirit Championship over his shoulder, cold-eyed and completely focused. Kimberley Williams bounds out beside him clutching Wasley the penguin, bouncing with energy as she points wildly toward the ring. Despite her antics though, there’s a sharpness in her eyes tonight. A seriousness underneath the chaos.
The match starts hot immediately. Holland and Brennan demand to begin against one another and the crowd roars as they meet in the centre. The tension is instant. Brennan tries to frustrate Holland early with technical wrestling and cheap little slaps to the face, but Holland responds by nearly taking his head off with a brutal lariat that sends Brennan scrambling from the ring.
Flynn quickly tags himself in instead and immediately tries to slow the pace, mocking Holland and forcing him into exchanges on his own terms. Holland powers through him regardless though, backing Flynn into the corner with heavy body shots before tagging Kimberley into the match. Flynn visibly laughs at first. Then, much to his surprise, Kim completely outwrestles him!
The pace suddenly accelerates as Kimberley strings together a breathtaking sequence of chain wrestling. Flynn escapes only for Kim to cartwheel through into a headscissors takeover that sends him rolling across the ring to a huge reaction.
Backstage cameras briefly cut away where Graham Caldwell and Kenji Kitamura can be seen watching on a monitor together. Caldwell folds his arms slowly, visibly impressed. Kenji just nods, almost knowingly.
Back in the ring Kim continues embarrassing Flynn technically, flowing effortlessly between holds while keeping him grounded. The crowd chants loudly for her as Flynn finally scrambles desperately to his corner for the tag. Brennan enters and immediately changes the complexion of the match.
He cuts Kim off with a cheap knee to the ribs while the referee is distracted and the heels begin isolating her methodically. Brennan and Flynn work surprisingly well together, constantly switching tags and preventing Kim from reaching Holland. Brennan in particular seems determined to prove a point, repeatedly wrenching at Kim’s neck and shoulders while taunting Holland the entire time.
Eventually Kim fights free after countering Flynn with a wild satellite DDT that drops both competitors. The crowd rises..
Hot tag!
Holland storms into the ring and absolutely wrecks both men.
Flynn gets flattened with a huge powerslam before Brennan eats a vicious big boot that nearly turns him inside out. Holland’s intensity is frightening now as he batters both opponents around ringside, throwing Brennan into the barricade before launching Flynn over the announce table.
The match begins completely breaking down from there.
Kim dives onto Flynn at ringside with a reckless crossbody that wipes both of them out into the front row while Holland and Brennan trade brutal strikes inside the ring. Brennan eventually gains the advantage by raking Holland across the eyes before planting him with his finisher for a massive near fall.
The crowd bites hard. Later Kim saves the match for her team after Brennan attempts to steal the win with his feet on the ropes, springboarding back into the ring to break the pin at the last possible second.
Chaos completely takes over during the closing stretch. Flynn accidentally collides with Brennan on the apron during a scramble, leading to a furious argument between the two. Holland capitalizes by launching Brennan over the ropes to the outside before turning Flynn inside out with another massive lariat.
Kim tags herself in. She and Holland hit a beautiful assisted combination sequence that nearly ends the match outright, Kim transitioning straight from a tornado DDT into a bridging pinfall while Holland cuts Brennan off from breaking it up.
One. Two. Flynn barely survives.
The crowd is losing their minds by now. Moments later though the finish spirals into chaos. Flynn complains furiously to the referee that Kim never tagged Holland legally during another exchange despite her very clearly doing so out of the official’s line of sight. The distraction is enough.
Brennan blasts Holland from behind into the ring post.
Kim turns straight into Flynn’s championship belt shot while the referee is still arguing with Brennan.
Flynn immediately throws the belt aside and hooks both legs.
One.
Two.
Three.
Winners: Flynn Howell & Brennan Devlin
The crowd rains boos down as Flynn and Brennan steal the victory. Brennan smirks smugly while Flynn raises his championship high above his head.
Inside the ring though, Kimberley Williams is already trying to sit back up despite the belt shot.
And on the outside, Erik Holland hasn’t taken his eyes off Brennan Devlin for a single second.
The victors retreat up the entrance ramp to Flynn’s music and share a fist bump as the camera’s lock in on the defeated pair back inside the ring for the final shot of the night.

WWC PRESS CONFERENCE
CROWNING CONVICTIONS
Montreal, QC
The WWC promoters are assembled once again ahead of Crowning Convictions. Emilio Sanchez, Graham Caldwell, Darcy Boone, Kenji Kitamura, Claude Villeneuve and Patti Villenueve sit alongside one another as media members begin taking questions. The first question goes to Claude Villeneuve regarding next week's North American Tag Team Championship Ladder Match. There were some surprise teams that failed to qualify. Claude nods."There were." He pauses. "More surprises among the teams that didn't make it than the teams that did, honestly."A few journalists raise their eyebrows. "But that's tag team wrestling."He gestures with one hand."People look at names. They look at reputations. Then the bell rings and none of that matters. Total War are dangerous. Bloody Oath are dangerous. Dem Paper Boyz surprised a lot of people. Silas Romero and Genevie somehow continue getting away with things."A few laughs."All four teams can win."One reporter asks if the Ladder Match simply comes down to which team wants it most. Claude immediately shakes his head."No. It's about who can seize the moment. The ladders don't care how badly you want something. The crowd doesn't care. History doesn't care."He leans forward slightly."The team that climbs fastest when the opportunity presents itself will be champion."Attention then turns toward the Vanguard Cup. The first ever tournament is now down to four competitors. Who wins? Emilio Sanchez answers first."Kova Kepler."No hesitation."She's reckless. Unpredictable. She's willing to throw herself into situations most people wouldn't even consider. That's dangerous in a tournament."Darcy disagrees."Callie Renton."
She smiles.
"Callie's focused. More focused than I've ever seen her. She knows exactly what she wants and she's carrying herself differently these days."Kenji Kitamura takes a moment."Clyde Sutter."Some surprise in the room.Kenji shrugs."I do not always like the methods. But the man is relentless. He believes every word he says. That makes him dangerous."Finally Graham Caldwell gives his answer."Motley Censori."He folds his arms."She’s understated, and shes quietly going under the radar with good performances. Even when she doesn’t win."A shrug."Sooner or later that pays off."The conversation moves onto last week's Champions Showcase Main Event involving Flynn Howell, Brennan Devlin, Erik Holland and Kimberley Williams. What did the promoters learn from that match?Graham answers first."I learned Brennan Devlin isn't the Heritage Champion I hoped he'd be."A murmur spreads around the room."Not yet, anyway."He quickly adds."There's still time for him to prove me wrong."Emilio smirks."I learned EXACTLY why Flynn Howell is a champion."The reaction earns a few chuckles.Darcy Boone speaks next."I saw Kimberley Williams lose a match and somehow come out looking stronger than before."She nods."That's not easy."Kenji agrees. "Erik Holland lost."A pause."But he did not lose respect."Claude gets the final word."As somebody who had no horse in the race?"He smiles."It reminded me why tag team wrestling is the great leveller.""Nothing is predictable.""One mistake. One distraction. One misunderstanding."He shrugs."Everything changes."The next question asks what each promoter is most looking forward to at Crowning Convictions.Graham answers immediately."Sasha Curry versus Brennan Devlin."A few surprised looks."Pure Rules."He nods."I want to see what happens when two people who enjoy bending rules suddenly don't have any shortcuts available."Emilio's choice is different."Marisol Vilaro."He smiles."Some people love her. Some people don't."A shrug."I wanted her here. Not everyone did. Some say she’s self indulgent, that she’s only inw wrestling to get her brand out there. I don’t care what her motives are. People are going to talk about her one way or another, and that’s good for business."He pauses."And Hans Phillips is not exactly a welcoming first opponent, so let’s see what she’s made of."Darcy Boone doesn't hesitate."Bunny Yoshizawa and Sierra Renegade."The crowd of reporters nod knowingly."Falls Count Anywhere."She laughs."That sounds like a terrible idea."Another pause."Which is exactly why I'm looking forward to it."Kenji chooses his champion."Erik Holland."No surprise there."People will expect him to defeat Journeyman Phillips. The Velvet Hammer isn’t getting any younger."A slight smile."But I have known Phillips for a very long time. Longer than I care to admit. Which probably says more about him than me.."The room laughs."It will not be easy, is all I’m saying."Finally Claude circles back to his own division."I can't look beyond the North American Tag Team Championship Ladder Match."He points toward the bracket displayed nearby with the remaining teams circled in black marker."We're crowning the first champions.""That's history." He pauses. "But if we're talking about matches outside of that..."A grin appears."Red Lock Legion are involved in the opening bout. They're always entertaining, a perfect start to the show."The final question concerns the Flashpoint Championship.Archie Adams now needs only two successful title defences before earning his shot at the Heritage Championship. Can he do it?The promoters exchange looks."Maybe," says Darcy."Maybe not," says Graham.Emilio smirks."Depends who's standing across the ring from him."Claude laughs."Which this week happens to be Jade Bentley….and friends." he adds, with a knowing smile what he was referring to.The room reacts. The promoters thank the media before standing from the table. With the Vanguard Cup reaching its semi-finals, the first North American Tag Team Champions set to be crowned, and multiple rivalries beginning to boil over, Crowning Convictions suddenly feels like one of the most important nights in WWC's young history.

Friday 5th June

'Everybody Knows' by Leonard Cohen
EIGHT PERSON TAG MATCH
Southern Wrecking (Travis & Wade Phillips) & Keanu Phillips & Sakura Phillips vs Red Lock Legion (Scarlett Howell, Corsen Howell & Flynn Howell) & Wheeler Wilkes

Journeyman Phillips stands proudly at ringside throughout, barking instructions and calling spots before they happen as if his team have rehearsed every movement beforehand. For a while it works beautifully. The Phillips family move as one unit, cutting the ring in half and repeatedly frustrating their opponents.
The turning point comes when Wheeler Wilkes barrels into the ring and nearly decapitates Sakura Phillips with a huge clothesline despite not being the legal competitor. Keanu explodes with anger and shoves the referee. The official shoves him back.
From there the match completely collapses. Everyone piles into the ring. Chairs appear from nowhere. Journeyman joins the fray himself. The crowd erupts as security rushes down trying to restore order.
Eventually some semblance of a match resumes. Corsen Howell begins shining for her team, stringing together several impressive sequences before looking to bring Scarlett into the action for the finish. Scarlett hesitates between tagging Flynn and Wheeler before finally choosing Wheeler. The momentary confusion allows Southern Wrecking back into the contest but Flynn solves the problem himself, storming into the ring illegally to swing momentum back in his team's favour. Moments later Wheeler catches Travis Phillips with a huge powerslam and scores the victory.
Winners: Red Lock Legion & Wheeler Wilkes
IN THE RING: TAG TITLE SUMMIT
Eight ladders stand arranged throughout the ring. One by one the four teams competing for the North American Tag Team Championships are introduced. Brian of Total War immediately questions why they're wasting time talking when they could simply start fighting now. His sister quickly reminds him that not everyone thinks with their fists. The ladder beneath him visibly wobbles under his weight, drawing laughter from the crowd.
Dem Paper Boyz are first to start firing shots. They claim they can't decide who went out of fashion first; the veterans standing opposite them or Bloody Oath's mullets. "Either way, we're taking these belts all the way to the bank."
Genevie rolls her eyes. She says every team here hides behind some ridiculous name because they need help sounding important. She and Silas Romero don't need that. They've probably won more championships in the last twelve months than everyone else combined.
When asked to name them, she suddenly struggles to come up with examples, backtracking but reiterating the fact they will have won more in their long illustrious careers anyhow.
Dem Paper Boyz immediately pounce. "See? Old school. Has-beens."
Bloody Oath finally speak up after sitting back initially to enjoy it. They promise that tonight won't be about talking. It will be about surviving. They've travelled halfway across the world for this opportunity and they're leaving with those championships. The confrontation nearly turns physical before officials separate everyone.
SINGLES MATCH
Gene Toughskins vs Jorja Kingsmill

Fresh off his debut victory, Gene Toughskins arrives full of confidence and swagger. He throws his weight around early and enjoys some success against the powerful Kingsmill.
Unfortunately for Gene though, Jorja is simply operating at a different level tonight. She’s patient, clinical, and relentless. Every opening Gene creates is immediately closed off. Every mistake is punished. Despite several promising flashes, Toughskins gradually finds himself completely outmanoeuvred. In the end, Jorja finishes things decisively with the Hardest Slam.
Winner: Jorja Kingsmill
BACKSTAGE: Brennan Devlin & Motley Censori
Motley Censori is preparing for her Vanguard Cup Semi Final when Brennan Devlin approaches.
The two embrace warmly.
Brennan tells her he's been watching her progress and couldn't be happier with what he's seen. But there's something bothering him. If she doesn't win the Vanguard Cup, she'll disappear into the background again.
Meanwhile people around him are receiving opportunities.
Jade.
Carmen.
Maddie.
Motley has to earn hers through an eight-person tournament.
Brennan says that's simply the difference between stars and everybody else. He creates opportunities. And if Motley wanted, he could create opportunities for her too.
Motley listens carefully. She says she'll always respect Brennan and appreciates everything he's done for her. But there are certain things she wants to accomplish herself.
The right way.
Brennan pauses. Then smiles.
He says he respects her decision.
For her sake though, he hopes it's the right one.
SINGLES MATCH
Hans Phillips vs Marisol Vilaro

Marisol's WWC debut quickly turns into a nightmare. Hans completely overwhelms her physically from the opening bell, throwing her across the ring and shrugging off everything she tries. Every time Marisol creates a little space, Hans simply grabs hold of her again and launches her somewhere else. The crowd begins wondering if she can even survive, never mind win.
Eventually panic starts setting in. Marisol repeatedly retreats into the ropes and corners looking for safety. When Hans charges at her again, she grabs the referee and instinctively pulls him in front of her. Hans can't stop in time and collides with the official, sending him crashing to the mat.
The crowd boos immediately.
Hans realises what has happened and turns back towards Marisol, furious. She responds by kicking him square between the legs.
A second referee races down as Marisol quickly rolls him up.
One. Two. Three.
Winner: Marisol Vilaro
Marisol wastes no time escaping up the ramp with a relieved smile while Hans tears up the ringside area in frustration. Journeyman Phillips appears to calm his son down, but Hans looks beyond furious.TABLES MATCH
Andrew Raynes vs Boon Williams

Raynes arrives in no mood for games.
His frustrations with the Phillips family are written all over his face and Boon Williams unfortunately ends up standing opposite him. The match is physical from the outset with both men looking to drive the other through a table as quickly as possible.
Then Journeyman Phillips appears at ringside. The crowd immediately begins booing.
Boon suggests they deal with him together. Raynes nods.
They start moving toward Phillips.
Then Raynes shrugs and blasts Boon from behind.
A brutal powerbomb through a table follows moments later.
Match over.
Raynes points directly at Phillips afterwards.
"I haven't forgotten." he mouths.
Phillips responds with nothing more than a sarcastic round of applause.
Winner: Andrew Raynes
BACKSTAGE: Red Lock Legion
The victorious Red Lock Legion are celebrating backstage when they’re approached for comment.
When Corsen is asked about the group's future ambitions, Flynn immediately cuts the interviewer off before she can answer.
He says there's currently only one champion among them. That’s a disgrace. An injustice. After tonight he'll be speaking directly with management about what THEY can do for HIM.
Scarlett and Corsen bring star quality to any division.
And Wheeler...
Flynn pauses.
"...does whatever it is Wheeler does."
Wheeler looks slightly offended before Scarlett quickly smooths things over.
Flynn then throws out a challenge.
Whoever wins the Vanguard Cup should put their title opportunity on the line against one of them.
When asked if this is simply an attempt to stop someone challenging for the Tradición Libre Championship, Flynn immediately denies it.
TAG TEAM MATCH
FLU SZN vs The Industry Plants

FLU SZN enter looking determined to prove they belonged in tonight's title match, but The Industry Plants push them hard. Very hard.
But unlike last week, there are no controversies this time.
A costly mistake from Elliott opens the door and FLU SZN capitalize immediately with the Snot Rocket. Simple and effective. The crowd love it.
Afterwards Journeyman Phillips storms into the ring and tears into his protégés while they stand with their heads lowered.
Winners: FLU SZN
BACKSTAGE: Jorja Kingsmill & Archie Adams
Jorja stops Archie Adams backstage. She says she has some advice for him.
Archie looks amused but listens politely.
Jorja warns him that Jade Bentley won't come alone tonight.
Carmen. Brennan. Possibly Maddie too.
People connected to Brennan seem to keep appearing whenever opportunities arise.
Archie sarcastically congratulates her on the revelation and tries to leave.
But Jorja stops him again.
She says she knows what it's like. Carmen, and Jade, have been a thorn in her side. She was promised another match with Carmen and it never materialised, but that’s a story for another day she says, getting sidetracked.
One final thing though..
If things get unfair tonight, she'll have his back.
Archie nods.
"Thanks…I guess."
Then quickly escapes before the conversation can continue.
SINGLES MATCH
Maddie Stokes vs Ichabod Thrasher

After recent setbacks, Maddie has no interest in wrestling Ichabod's preferred methods. Every time he attempts to drag the contest into a technical showcase, Maddie slows things down and forces him into a fight instead. It's frustrating. It's ugly. But it's effective.
Thrasher earns several near falls and repeatedly threatens an upset, but Maddie's experience eventually wins out with a clean Sit Out Powerbomb.
Winner: Maddie Stokes
IN THE RING: Brianna West & Whisper Windsor
Brianna West heads to the ring and addresses the crowd. She says she hasn't had the start she wanted in WWC. Losing in the Vanguard Cup was disappointing, but she's been around long enough to know one loss means nothing. She didn't come here to fade into the background. She came here to win championships.
That brings out Whisper Windsor.
Whisper says Brianna talks a good game for someone who's accomplished absolutely nothing in WWC so far. Every week it's excuses and promises. Maybe Brianna isn't the future contender she thinks she is.
Brianna doesn't take kindly to that. She lays down the challenge, since neither are booked. and the two agree to an impromptu match right there.
SINGLES MATCH
Brianna West vs Whisper Windsor

Brianna largely controls the match, using her strength and experience to keep Whisper on the defensive. Every time Whisper tries to speed things up or create an opening, Brianna cuts her off and drags her back into deeper water.
Late in the contest Brianna plants Whisper with a huge spinebuster and seems seconds away from victory.
But Whisper lives up to her name.
As Brianna pulls her upright for the finish, Whisper rakes the eyes behind the referee's back, quickly hooks the tights and steals the three-count.
Winner: Whisper Windsor
Whisper immediately bails from the ring celebrating like she won a world title while Brianna argues furiously with the referee. Whisper simply grins from the stage and waves goodbye, perfectly happy with how she got the result.
SINGLES MATCH
Freddie Florentino vs Carmen Muratori

Freddie Florentino is magnificent here. Technically superior. Disciplined. Composed.
For much of the contest he simply looks better than Carmen Muratori. The momentum only shifts once Jade Bentley begins getting involved from ringside.
Tiny distractions become bigger ones. Freddie's focus starts slipping, and that's all Carmen needs. One mistake leads to one opening. Once on top she makes it count, literally, with the Platinum Swipe. Jade grabs her legs form behind for added momentum as Freddie kicks out a fraction of a second too late in this stolen victory.
Winner: Carmen Muratori
BACKSTAGE: Jorja Kingsmill & Kova Kepler
Jorja approaches Kova Kepler next. She claims they have more in common than Kova realizes.
Kova looks unconvinced.
Jorja talks about Brennan, Carmen and Jade.
The same people causing problems for everyone.
She believes Archie could use help tonight.
Kova says she likes Archie. She hopes he wins and gets his shot at Brennan. But she doesn't owe anybody anything. She already repaid her debt.
Her focus is the Vanguard Cup.
Jorja warns her they may all need one another eventually.
Kova declines politely.
Good luck though.
FALLS COUNT ANYWHERE
Bunny Yoshizawa vs Sierra Renegade

The pressure is beginning to build for Bunny Yoshizawa. The winning streak. The growing support. The opportunities potentially waiting ahead.
Sierra Renegade senses it immediately and spends the opening stages exploiting every moment of hesitation. Eventually though the environment suits Bunny perfectly. The further the match spirals into chaos, the more comfortable she becomes.
The two battle throughout the arena in one of the wildest matches of the night before Bunny finally digs deep and hits the Crash Test through a table to find another huge victory.
Winner: Bunny Yoshizawa
NO DISQUALIFICATION
Erik Holland vs Journeyman Phillips

Despite the stipulations and unpredictability of Phillips, the opening stages are surprisingly respectful.
Journeyman appreciates Holland's reputation. Holland respects Journeyman's legacy.
Phillips even rolls back the years early with a tremendous display of technical wrestling that leaves Holland struggling to find answers in the opening exchanges. Eventually Holland adapts. The wrestling becomes fighting. The fighting becomes brawling. Soon they're battling inside the ring, outside the ring and into the crowd. Phillips rallies repeatedly but fatigue begins catching hi but the veteran refuses to quit.
Eventually though Holland lands a devastating lariat before finishing things cleanly. Afterward the two men share a respectful nod. Holland picks up his title and exits to a huge cheer.
Winner: Erik Holland
HARDCORE RULES
Kimberley Williams vs Pesty

This is exactly what everyone expected. Weapons, chaos, and madness. With Kim involved, you expect nothing less. She seems to have brought half the contents of a hardware store with her and repeatedly introduces increasingly ridiculous objects into the match. Pesty gives as good as she gets though and refuses to back down. The crowd loves every second of it. Eventually Kim's creativity proves too much and plants her opponent with an Asai DDT onto broken glass.
Winner: Kimberley Williams
VANGUARD CUP SEMI FINAL
Callie Renton vs Motley Censori

Callie enters brimming with confidence. Perhaps too much confidence. Motley takes advantage immediately and spends much of the match one step ahead.
Callie gradually fights her way back though and the momentum shifts repeatedly.
Then Motley attempts one final high-risk aerial attack. A 450 splash. She misses.
Callie capitalizes instantly with the Borken Mold, following it up with The Heiress. The relief on her face afterwards says everything. She knows how close she came to elimination and tones down the celebrations. She hasn’t won anything yet, but she’s one step closer.
Winner: Callie Renton
Afterwards in a backstage interview Callie admits she needs to be more clinical in the final. But heart matters too. "Two wins from glory…maybe then I can carry myself a bit differently!”
VANGUARD CUP SEMI FINAL
Kova Kepler vs Clyde Sutter

Kova throws herself into battle without hesitation. Clyde Sutter tries repeatedly to overwhelm her with sheer brutality. More often than not he succeeds. But Kova refuses to stay down.
Her speed, her creativity. Her fearlessness. They continually drag her back into contention.
The more frustrated Clyde becomes, the more mistakes begin creeping into his game. Eventually Kova spots a tiny opening and launches herself off the top tope with a top rope clothesline. Clyde is rocked but stays on his feet. She follows up with a missile headbutt that practically knocks them both out cold. Fortunately for Kova she lands with an arm across Sutter’s chest and the count gets made.
Winner: Kova Kepler

NORTH AMERICAN TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP
LADDER MATCH
Total War vs Genevie & Silas Romero vs Dem Paper Boyz vs Bloody Oath

Absolute chaos.
Ladders everywhere.
Bodies flying.
Near misses.
They’re all fucked by the end.
Everyone touches the championships at some point.
Total War come agonisingly close on multiple occasions.
Bloody Oath somehow climb the same ladder together and have both hands on the titles before disaster strikes and they crash all the way to the floor below, courtesy of Dem Paper Boyz.
The crowd can barely believe it.
As the match enters its final stages everyone is battered beyond recognition.
Silas Romero finally finds himself alone atop the ladder. Climbing the steps one at a time, as if in slow motion.
Three separate attempts are made to stop him.
Genevie, somehow, prevents every single one.
A chair shot to Sophie O’Brian.
A low blow to Dame Dolla.
Finally, a desperate dive that drags Hal away from the ladder at the last possible second.
Silas reaches up.
Unhooks both championships.
The bell rings.
The crowd's reaction is mixed.
They loved the match.
Not necessarily the result.
Winners and NEW North American Tag Team Champions: Silas Romero & Genevie
The new champions celebrate wildly.
Around them, three devastated teams slowly realise they simply had nothing left to give. But this division is well and truly alive. How long can they keep hold of the belts with all these challengers?
HEADLINER
PURE RULES MATCH
Brennan Devlin vs Sasha Curry

For perhaps the first time since arriving in WWC, both competitors are forced to rely almost entirely on wrestling.
And for a while, they deliver. Graham Caldwell sits at ringside, visibly impressed at the early exchanges. For over five minutes the crowd watches a genuine technical masterclass.
At one point the audience actually applauds a sequence.
Brennan responds with a sarcastic bow, but Sasha immediately catches him sleeping and nearly steals the match.
As things progress Brennan is forced deeper and deeper to tap into his experience and any upper hand he can find.
Without his usual shortcuts, Sasha proves every bit his equal. In fact, she may have had him beaten. Late in the contest she scores what appears to be a decisive pinfall.
Before the referee can count three, Maddie Stokes leaps onto the apron complaining about Brennan's foot supposedly being under the ropes. Caldwell stands and stares a whole right through her. He says nothing but she instantly steps back down.
The distraction lasts only seconds. But it’s enough to prevent the three count and a furious Curry bemoans her missed opportunity. She pleads to the official, as well as her boss, to give her the win but it falls on deaf ears. Brennan survives another day and moments later he locks on the Face Turn in the centre of the ring to secure a hollow victory.
A narrow escape for the Heritage Champion who doesn’t hold back on his celebrations.
Winner: Brennan Devlin
MAIN EVENT
FLASHPOINT CHAMPIONSHIP MATCH
Archie Adams (c) vs Jade Bentley

The atmosphere is electric and Archie knows exactly what is waiting for him.
Jade, however, knows exactly what she needs to do. She enters like a champion in waiting, flanked by her allies and calm in her demeanour.
The champion starts brilliantly, dictating the pace and repeatedly forcing Jade onto the defensive.
But Jade is patient.
Gradually she slows the contest down. Targets the body. Wears him down.
The longer the match continues, the more dangerous she becomes. Archie refuses to break though. Every time Jade gains control he finds a way back.
The closing stages descend into exactly the chaos everyone expected. Brennan distracts the referee pointing to a false infringement. Carmen moves into position to take out Archie from behind. Before she can interfere though, Jorja Kingsmill storms down to ringside and cuts her off.
The crowd erupts. A furious brawl breaks out between the two women on the floor.
Inside the ring Jade turns for a split second. That's all Archie needs, as it hits the Crown Keeper.
One opening.
One opportunity.
One Flashpoint.
Three count.
Winner and still Flashpoint Champion: Archie Adams
Archie rises slowly and raises two fingers toward the crowd.
Two successful defences.
One more to go.
At ringside Carmen and Jade are absolutely furious, screaming for Jorja Kingsmill’s blood.
Brennan Devlin remains far calmer. He fixes the belt across his shoulder and looks over at his proteges, before looking back at his rival in the ring.
The show fades out with Archie standing tall once again, the Flashpoint Championship raised high above his head.
